“How to” ways to make your blog shine.!

The blog post should be on One Topic 

A blog post should be based on a single topic. Telling everything in one single post is not a decent way of writing a blog post. It mainly confuses the reader and bores the reader actually, to read the long posts. You can break down the topic into the points and provide an in-depth piece of content that subjects the single topic. Doing this way you will address each subtopic one at a time.

The length of the blog post

The length of the topic is not necessarily an issue actually unless and until you are writing with your heart. As long as you are writing concisely and staying on the topic the length of the blog post is fine with space it takes, to make your points clear and convey the full message you actually want to.

A good blog post (acc. to me) is the one which at least consists of 500 words (the minimum ).

Your audience will only engage or get attracted to your content only if they are getting some value for the time they are engaging with your content. Always cross check “whether the content created is valuable to others ? “.  

Another point to be noted is that Google is only going to display the content that is useful to the searcher. SEO is the main key player for the blog post to perform well and gain the traffic by increasing its rankings’ on google. Keyword research is an essential tool for SEO to perform well on GOOGLE. Without search engine optimization, the blog post faces a bit of difficulty to be crawled by Google. 

Target the target audience.

The target audience is the most important aspect of writing the blog post. The content produce should be crafted to suit your target audience. Your blog post must be valuable and meaningful to the readers and make justice for the time invested in your content.

• Write about the topics they are valuable to them.
• Content should timely and relevant to their need and situation 
• The use of conversational tone is much important for the engagement.

Effective formatting to make reading a piece of cake.

The easier it is for the reader to read, (or) Consume your content, the more likely they’ll become a return visitor to your blog, regularly. Here are some tips for you to follow, make your blog post easy to read and informatively enjoy.

• Using subheadings to break the topic into small chunks for better understanding. 
• Using bullet points for easy to note out the important points.
• Using sequence for the explanation of the steps of an action or activity.
• Use of images for better understanding and capture viewer attention.
• Using block quotes to highlight interesting phrases within paragraphs. 

The headline is important.

A good headline will always “ Make or Break “ whether anyone will read your blog post.

The headline of your post will : 

• Make the reader curious to read the full post.
• Be clear and descriptive to give the correct idea about the summary of the post.
• Consider the search engine rankings.
• Focus on the benefits/values of your content.

Some of the effective methods are :

• “ How to”: Most of the people are struggling with some kind of subject and end up in searching for the “how to” type of questions. The headlines tell them that you are going to provide them the solutions for their doubts.

• Number Headline: The number of tips/topics/ways/reasons that will help the readers to solve their issue will make a Wonderful headline, and attract a lot of traffic, as it gives the feeling of solving their problems in simple steps. For example: “ 5 steps to find your passion ?”.

• SEO title: If aiming to rank well on search engines, then the keywords research and the search engine optimization is a must. Targeting the phrase or the niche  For example: if your target is “e-commerce” then, you can use “ Best ways practiced by the world leaders, to increase your e-commerce sales ..!”.
